By accessing or using HookWatch ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
HookWatch is a webhook monitoring and relay service that allows users to receive, log, forward, and retry webhook events. The Service acts as a proxy between webhook sources (such as Stripe, Shopify, GitHub, and other third-party services) and your servers.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
- You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose or violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
4. Subscription Plans and Payments
- The Service offers various subscription plans with different features and usage limits.
- Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Paddle.
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes affect their subscription.
- We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions. If you request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal, you will receive a full refund with no questions asked.
5. Usage Limits
Each subscription plan includes specific usage limits:
- Free Plan: 1,000 events/month, 2 endpoints
- Pro Plan: 50,000 events/month, 10 endpoints
- Business Plan: 500,000 events/month, unlimited endpoints
Exceeding your plan's limits may result in temporary service restrictions until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade to a higher plan.
6. Data and Privacy
- We collect and process webhook data that passes through our Service. This includes headers, payloads, and metadata.
- Webhook data is stored securely and retained according to your plan's data retention policy.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the data you process through our Service complies with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the Service for spamming, phishing, or other fraudulent activities
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
8. Service Availability
- We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible via email or dashboard notifications.
- We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions or downtime.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by HookWatch and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you transmit through the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookWatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HookWatch, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
- We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.
- You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HookWatch operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
